MEET SEAN
Sean was more than the inspiration behind our mascot — he was a real painter, mentor, and friend.
When Hyo was just 15 years old, he spent his summers working alongside Sean, learning the craft of painting the way many tradespeople once did: on the job, day by day, jobsite by jobsite. Sean taught him the value of patience, precision, and pride in doing good work.
Back then, the trades looked a little different. Health and safety weren’t talked about the way they are today, and the culture often leaned toward “tough it out and get the job done.” Sean represented the best of that generation — hardworking, generous with his knowledge, and deeply dedicated to the craft.
Today, our cartoon Sean is both a tribute and a reminder. He represents the painters who came before us, and the responsibility we have to take care of ourselves and each other while we do this work.
TurboCaulk is built by tradespeople, for tradespeople — and Sean will always be part of that story.
